Adrenaline Spectacle at Borik — MotoSurf World Championship in Zadar

This past weekend, from October 10th to 12th, our city of Zadar was the host of a true spectacle — the MotoSurf World Championship – GP of Croatia 2025, held on the beautiful Borik Beach.

The weather was absolutely perfect — three sunny days, calm sea, and an almost summer-like atmosphere, even though it’s already mid-October. Thanks to excellent organization and ideal weather conditions, Zadar once again proved that it can host major international events even outside the summer season.

The best motor surf riders in the world gathered at Borik Beach. There were also many spectators, families, swimmers, and curious onlookers. The sound of engines and the splash of waves created a real adrenaline-filled atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the races and the cheerful energy all around. It was wonderful to see so many young people and so much positive energy in one place.

In the Elite / Open class, the winner in Zadar was Alex Lukscheider. In the Stock class, the top two spots went to Korean riders Minseong and Down Kim. In the women’s division, Czech rider Eliška Matoušková dominated the competition. Congratulations to all the competitors for a spectacular event, and thank you — it was a real pleasure to witness all the effort, passion, and excitement on the water!

Since we’re only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, we took our coffee and headed to the sea. The sun, the waves, and the colorful parade of surfboards made for an unforgettable sight. Moments like these remind us why we love life by the sea — all year round.

What we especially love about our location is that there’s no need to even start the car. Our guests can simply park in front of the apartments and reach Borik Beach within minutes on foot. Even in October, you can still enjoy the sunshine, coffee by the sea, or lunch in nearby restaurants. The beach facilities remain open, and the proximity of the sea and the beautiful views make staying here special throughout the entire year.
